Origin Green is Ireland's pioneering food and drink sustainability programme, operating on a national scale, uniting government, the private sector and the full supply chain from farmers to food producers and right through to the foodservice and retail sectors. The programme is the worlds only national food and drink sustainability programme, and enables the industry to set and achieve measurable sustainability targets that respect the environment and serve local communities more effectively.

Ballymaguire Foods

At Ballymaguire Foods, we produce fresh prepared foods in partnership with leading retail and foodservice brands - together bringing healthy food to busy Irish families. Since our establishment in 2008, we have built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional quality, value, and service to our customers. Clarkes Fresh Fruit

Clarke's Fresh Fruit is a family run business in Stamullen, County Meath (M1, Exit 7) currently growing 60 acres of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. Owner and Director Pat Clarke is a Bord Bia quality assured soft fruit producer who has established a reputation for the production of quality fresh fruit over the past 50 years. More recently Clarkes have launched a premium jam range made only with fruit from the family farm.

Irish Distillers

Irish Distillers is Ireland's leading supplier of spirits and wines and producer of some of the world's most well-known and successful Irish whiskeys. Led by Jameson, the company's brands are driving the global renaissance of the category. Jameson is the world's bestselling Irish whiskey, experiencing 30 years of consecutive growth up to 2019 and the portfolio of brands exports to more than 130 markets around the world. Irish Distillers was formed in 1966, when a merger took place between John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son and Cork Distilleries Company. In 1988 Irish Distillers joined Pernod Ricard, gaining access to unprecedented levels of investment and an extensive global distribution network. Since 2012, Irish Distillers has invested over €400 million to double its production and bottling capacity sustainably to meet global demand for products. The company employs over 600 people across operations in Cork, Dublin and Belfast.

Tesco is one of Ireland's leading retailers with 151 stores and two distribution centres nationwide. As a leading food retailer, Tesco is one of the biggest private sector employers in Ireland employing over 13,000 colleagues across the country. We are committed to achieving maximum sustainability in all our operations and we continue to work to integrate sustainability into all aspects of our business. Being a sustainable business is very important to us and we're proud to support the communities in which we serve. In becoming a member of Origin Green, Tesco has set out a sustainability plan that targets key operational, sourcing, health and nutrition and social responsibility targets. In committing to the Origin Green sustainability charter the structure provides meaningful goals which are independently verified on an ongoing basis.

Ballykilcavan Brewing Company

Established in 2016, Ballykilcavan Brewing Company is based at Ballykilcavan Farm, near Stradbally, Co. Laois. Home to 13 generations of the Walsh family since the year 1639, Ballykilcavan has primarily been a tillage farm for the past 50 years. With malting barley being the main crop on the farm, the brewing company was setup to diversify and safeguard its long-term future. The company launched its first beer in July 2017 and was followed by three more bottled beers to create its core bottled beer range. The on-farm brewery was opened in December 2018 and since then, the company has added four canned beers and an unfiltered lager to its range as it continues to grow.

Kinnegar Brewing

Kinnegar Brewing was established in 2013 in Rathmullan, amidst the hilly fields and farms of northeast Donegal. Rapid growth and success made expansion inevitable and in 2017 the brewery relocated to a larger production facility in nearby Letterkenny. Their mission to consistently produce beer of the highest quality remained unchanged. Kinnegar pairs brewing tradition with a contemporary sense of adventure to produce clean, crisp, full-flavoured beers. Unfiltered and naturally carbonated, their extensive range of core beers spans a wide variety of highly drinkable, accessible styles. State of the art brewing facilities offer the flexibility to meet the ever-increasing demand for Kinnegar Brewing's popular core range, while also allowing the production of small batch brews ideal for piloting fresh ideas and keeping the interest of both brewers and customers piqued. Still the only Irish brewery to have achieved a Gold award in the prestigious World Beer Cup, the quality of Kinnegar Brewing's beer is franked by international critical acclaim. An on-site taproom at the brewery welcomes visitors for tours and fresh pints. Kinnegar Brewing's beers are sold domestically throughout the island of Ireland, as well as being exported to continental Europe.

Greenhill Fruit Farm Ltd

Greenhilll Fruit Farm is a family-run farm near Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford led by Eamonn and Deirdre Crean. The team combines three generations worth of fruit growing knowledge within their operations, ensuring the continuity of the region's fruit growing heritage. Across Ireland, Greenhill Fruit Farm are well known for their high-quality strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries.Through a combination of traditional and modern growing techniques and staggered planting schedules, Greenhill Fruit Farm maximise taste and the length of their growing season. Their products can be found at numerous roadside stalls across Ireland, where customers can buy them directly from the farm. Additionally, the business supplies well-known local and national supermarket and wholesale chains.
