Origin Green equips companies to meet the evolving sustainability needs and demands of global consumer markets, and enables food and drink companies to position themselves as credible and ideal partners for sustainable produce and future investment.
The programme also enables food manufacturers to set and achieve measurable sustainability targets, that help them reduce environmental impact and achieve a range of efficiencies in the daily running of their businesses.
Bord Bia’s three-year strategy for Origin Green has been informed by data and insight commissioned specifically from food and drink company members of Origin Green, to ensure continued collaboration towards successful sustainability outcomes across the sector.
How do I sign up to the Origin Green programme and what will it cost?
Costs associated with the Origin Green programme are kept to a minimum and subsidised wherever possible.

Origin Green registration is free and allows all companies to sign up, regardless of their financial position. Payment is only sought at a later stage when companies have submitted an independently verified sustainability plan.
