In 2024, Moran’s Mega Jam made considerable progress in reducing energy consumption. The company reduced its energy intensity from 1.20 kWh/kg of output in 2023 to 0.67 kWh/kg, significantly outperforming its milestone target by 44%.

This substantial reduction is attributed to the consistent efforts of the entire team. The company has highlighted that the success stems from the diligent work of staff members, with all energy-saving initiatives being closely monitored and actively followed by the team. This collaborative approach has been central to achieving such a notable improvement.

Among the measures contributing to this success is the installation of energy-efficient LED lighting. While still in the early stages of implementation, the company has already begun to see the benefits of this upgrade, which has helped reduce electricity usage across operations.

Given that Moran’s Mega Jam is now significantly ahead of its original energy milestone, the company has re-projected its target for the remainder of the plan’s lifetime.
