In 2024, Micil Distillery achieved full certification of its raw material grain intake, with 100% sourced from IGAS-certified suppliers, exceeding its milestone target by 55%. This milestone reflects the company’s strong commitment to responsible sourcing and traceability in its supply chain.

This achievement marks the first time Micil Distillery has reached full certification for its grain intake, a key ingredient in its whiskey production. While this is a major step forward, the company has updated its projections for the remainder of the Origin Green plan to maintain a minimum of 80% certified intake. This adjustment reflects a realistic approach, acknowledging potential fluctuations in supply availability while maintaining a high standard.

Micil Distillery also maintained 100% certification for outsourced whiskey production, with all raw materials used meeting IGAS standards. This consistency ensures that sustainability and quality are upheld across all aspects of production, including those managed by third-party partners.

Similarly, the company’s outsourced Irish cream production continued to meet its sustainability targets, with 100% of raw materials sourced from SDAS-certified suppliers. This demonstrates Micil Distillery’s commitment to applying the same rigorous standards across its full product portfolio.
