In 2024, Dairygold Food Ingredients achieved a significant milestone in its commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) by earning a Bronze Medal for its efforts. This accomplishment reflects the company’s strategic and structured approach to embedding DE&I principles across its operations.

To reach this milestone, Dairygold developed a comprehensive DE&I roadmap, outlining ten planned initiatives designed to foster a more inclusive and equitable workplace. By the end of 2024, seven of these initiatives had been completed or were actively progressing. These included the establishment of a DE&I steering group, the development of a dignity at work policy, and the completion of a gender pay gap report. Each of these actions represents a meaningful step toward creating a workplace culture that values respect, fairness, and opportunity for all.

The formation of the DE&I steering group has been particulalry impactful, providing a dedicated forum to guide and oversee the implementation of DE&I initiatives. This group plays a key role in ensuring accountability, tracking progress , and maintaining momentum across the organisation. Meanwhile, the dignity at work policy reinforces Dairygold's commitment to a respectful and supportive work environment, clearly outlining expectations and procedures for addressing workplace issues.
